Job summary

OA Group in Stevenage seeks a Finance Manager to lead the finance function, own day-to-day operations and manage a small team. The role focuses on stock accounting, inventory valuation and ensuring data integrity across Dynamics and the reporting framework.

The position is full-time with 3 days in the office during a hybrid working model after an initial training period; salary £50,000–£65,000 per annum, and reports to the Finance Director.

Qualifications

• Experience with Dynamics BC, Power BI and Excel.
• Fully qualified accountant or equivalent senior finance experience.
• Stock accounting, inventory valuation and margin analysis experience.
• Experience with international trading.
• Experience in product-based businesses and small finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts and ensure reliable data.
• Meet with managers monthly to compare budgets/forecasts.
• Report monthly management accounts to SLT and FD.
• Conduct margin analysis and cost of sales review.
• Oversee inventory processes and stock valuation.
• Assist year-end figures with Financial Director.
• Manage finance data within Dynamics and feeding systems.
• Oversee debtor/creditor ledgers and payment terms.
