Job summary

The CFO HQ is seeking a Finance Manager in Stevenage for a 6-month contract. You will act as a strong number two in the finance function, lead a small team, and own day-to-day finance operations with a focus on stock accounting and data integrity in Dynamics.

You will produce monthly management accounts, manage inventory valuation, support budgeting and forecasting, monitor debtors and creditors, oversee bank accounts in multiple currencies, and help automate processes through a technology-first

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong financial reporting experience.
• Experience with high stock volumes and stock valuation.
• Experience with Dynamics BC and Power BI.
• Strong controls, budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage stock accounting, inventory valuation and cost of sales.
• Lead the finance team and develop processes for efficiency.
• Oversee ledgers (UK and overseas) and cash forecasting.
• Coordinate annual budget and periodic reforecasts.
• Ensure data integrity within Dynamics and reporting systems.
