Job summary

Job Advert in Stevenage is seeking a Finance Manager on a 6-month contract to lead the finance team and own day-to-day financial operations, with a focus on stock accounting, inventory valuation and data integrity in Dynamics.

You will produce monthly management accounts, analyse margins, manage creditor/debtor ledgers and support FP&A with a technology-first approach. Fully qualified accountant; international trading experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience with Dynamics BC and stock accounting.
• Experience in inventory valuation and margin analysis.
• Strong reporting, controls and data integrity skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts reflecting trading position.
• Lead monthly meetings with managers to review budget/forecast movements.
• Report management accounts to SLT and flag anomalies to FD.
• Perform margin analysis and stock/process cost reporting.
• Manage stock accounting, valuation and related cost of sales.
• Collaborate on year-end figures with the Financial Director.
• Oversee finance data in Dynamics and feeding systems.
• Ensure debtor/creditor ledgers are accurate and timely.
• Oversee multi-currency bank accounts and treasury planning.
