Job summary

UK & Ireland 2028 Limited is hiring a Finance Manager (Reporting) to oversee management accounting, risk monitoring and bespoke external reporting for UEFA EURO 2028. The role is based at Wembley Stadium, London, with onsite requirements and travel across the UK & Ireland as needed.

Key duties include managing a circa £250m budget, leading risk assessment processes, and delivering timely financial insights in a fast-paced tournament delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a professional accountancy qualification.
• Experience in formal management reporting and board-level reporting.
• Ability to communicate with non-financial stakeholders clearly.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
• Proficient in MS Office and advanced reporting writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Report on a circa £250m budget and support rigorous financial reporting with funding agreements.
• Lead the Quantified Risk Assessment process and monitor financial risks.
• Identify risk areas and implement controls and reporting to mitigate them.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reporting and analysis for stakeholders across the business.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful and collaborative work environment.
• Represent the organisation’s values in all interactions.
• Ensure delivery against timelines, budgets and operational requirements.
