Job summary

UK & Ireland 2028 Limited is seeking an Event Communications Manager based at Wembley Stadium, London, with travel across the UK & Ireland to support UEFA EURO 2028 delivery. This fixed‑term role runs from February 2027 to Summer 2028 and leads a specialised communications team across 8 host cities to coordinate matchday, mobility and fan festival information.

You will develop the events communications strategy, manage content for the UEFA EURO 2028 app and UEFA.com, and partner with

Qualifications

Multi-channel sports/event communications experience.
Copywriting or content editing experience, ideally with an operational focus.
Digital content management experience.
Experience in major event operations.

Responsibilities

Strategy: Support the development of the UEFA EURO 2028 Event Communications Strategy, maximising reach and impact.
Communications delivery: Lead content development for the app, emails and channels; ensure accurate stadium, mobility and fan communications.
Content management: Manage the CMS for the app and UEFA.com; test and review digital product delivery.
Stakeholder management: Work with Host City, Transport, Stadium, Fan Festival and National Associations.
Project management: Lead and train a team across 8 host cities and support readiness training.
