Job Title: Finance Manager - Reporting & Controls

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

Contract: Permanent

Location: Homebased (North West)

Weekly Hours: 35

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager or Controller with a strong background in Financial Reporting and Controls to join Your Housing Group as our Finance Manager - Reporting & Controls. You will operationally lead our statutory financial reporting requirements.

We seek a senior finance professional familiar with the Housing Sector, eager to work operationally within your team to "own the numbers." Reporting directly to the Head of Finance - Reporting & Controls, you will collaborate with your team and the wider finance function to establish an effective reporting and control environment.

Responsibilities

1. Operational responsibility for statutory accounting activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, ensuring compliance and managing audits.
2. Leading and managing the fixed asset and group accounting teams to meet reporting and control requirements, supporting efficient and transparent service delivery.

Ideal Candidate

• Confident decision-maker and people manager.
• Ability to build effective relationships within the finance team and across the business.
• Forward-thinking with the ability to identify operational improvements and implement best practices.
