Finance Manager – Mergers & Acquisitions

Location: Maidstone

Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 per annum, depending on experience

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and commercially-minded Corporate Finance Manager to lead key corporate finance and M&A initiatives, focusing on investment strategy, acquisitions, and business integration. The successful candidate will evaluate strategic opportunities, shape financial outcomes, and support decision-making at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial evaluation and due diligence for acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic transactions.
• Design and manage detailed financial models to assess performance, forecast returns, and evaluate business cases.
• Provide valuation analysis using methodologies such as DCF, comparables, and precedent transactions.
• Support market trend analysis and identify potential investment opportunities through research.
• Coordinate transaction processes with internal teams and external advisers.
• Work with legal, tax, and compliance teams to ensure deal structuring is efficient and compliant.
• Prepare reports and investment materials for senior management and board presentations.
• Monitor performance of acquisitions or projects, including ROI and synergy tracking.
• Act as a primary contact for financial institutions, stakeholders, and funders.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Experience in finance or corporate development, with exposure to M&A or strategic investments.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and valuation skills.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
