Finance Manager, Media, £350-£450pd

Overview

Altum Consulting are partnering with an international Media business to recruit a Finance Manager for an initial 6-month period. Based in central London (hybrid working) this role will be instrumental in setting up, maintaining, and executing best-in-class financial reporting across international business units.

The position will suit a Big 4 Audit Qualified Accountant who is looking for an opportunity to manage a variety of finance projects and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, covering all recharges and cost allocations across multiple business units.
  • Establish and maintain financial policies, procedures, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Support corporate reporting requirements, including flash reporting, short-term forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Assist in annual budget and periodic forecasting processes, collaborating with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Take ownership of the monthly rolling forecast.
  • Produce accurate monthly P&L reports and forecasts.
  • Support cross-functional projects and collaborate with operations teams across international regions.
  • Assist in internal and external audits, including statutory reporting and control assessments.
  • Perform quarterly self-assessments on internal financial controls and processes.
You'll be / Have
  • Qualified Accountant (CA/ACA) from an audit background.
  • SAP/HFM experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data sets.
  • Solid understanding of P&L forecasting and financial modelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders at various levels, including senior leadership.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Available immediately/short notice period
