Job summary

PHINIA Delphi UK Ltd is seeking a Finance Manager to cover maternity leave for 12-14 months. The role focuses on supporting the site Financial Controller and the Finance team in monthly and annual reporting, ensuring adherence to processes, policies, and compliance.

You will coordinate audits and drive robust financial controls. The successful candidate will manage a Finance team (AP/AR/GL), deliver accurate reporting by deadlines, and work with our Krakow GBS liaison for shared services.

JOB PURPOSE

This position is to cover maternity for 12-14 months. The Finance Manager role revolves around supporting both the site Financial Controller and the Finance team in the production of monthly and annual reporting and ensuring specifically that there is understanding of process, policy and compliance responsibilities. Responsible for co‑ordinating the updating and documenting of current processes alongside this. Responsible for coordination of both external and internal audit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To manage a team (AP and AR and GL) and ensure delivery of all Financial elements
  • To take responsibility for accurate financial reporting to strict deadlines; input into the budget/forecast process
  • Manage and control production of the monthly Balance Sheet forecast and provide details and accurate variance analysis
  • To liaise with external and internal auditors to ensure robust processes and respond with required data requests
  • Ensure the site is Sarbannes Oxley compliant
  • Assist with maintaining and continuously developing accurate and timely reporting systems which meaningfully analyse and interpret the financial performance of the site
  • Continue to help develop robust forecasting process, including Budget and Plan years for Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash flow, and FX
  • Report Risks & Opportunities and key Initiatives to deliver
  • Support Management Team with information, analysis & guidance to allow strong Financial Control Work to improve the Site’s Working Capital Cycle
  • The role will be heavily compliance based
  • Support the preparation of Capital Project Proposals
  • To administer the Company’s assets and liabilities in accordance with the established financial controls and accounting policies of the Company
  • Supervision of Finance team, covering for and supporting the Controller in this activity
  • Liaison with Finance Shared Service Centre in Krakow (GBS)
