Job summary

Broster Buchanan have been retained to recruit a Finance Manager for a well established privately owned business in Felling, Gateshead. Reporting to the Finance Director the successful candidate will play a key role in the finance team being involved in all aspects of both finance and the wider business.

The position would suit a real all rounder, although some exposure to manufacturing and/or distribution would be useful.

Qualifications

• Experience and attitude allied to a pleasant character are more important than qualifications.
• Some exposure to manufacturing and/or distribution would be useful.
• Team player with a range of experience.

Responsibilities

• Monthly reporting and management accounts
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Product costings
• Variance analysis around both income and costs
• Ongoing maintenance and development of finance and business systems
• Maintenance of accurate financial accounting records and reconciliations
