Job summary

Simpson Judge in Blackburn, Lancashire seeks a hands-on Finance Manager to own the finance function within a growing SME. You’ll report to the Managing Director, deliver accurate financial reporting, and provide commercial insight while leading a small team.

The role is 100% onsite, full-time and permanent, with a circa £45,000 salary per annum. You’ll influence cash flow, budgeting and year-end processes and enjoy direct access to senior management.

Qualifications

• Hands-on management of a finance function in a small/medium business.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting skills.
• Experience leading a small finance team or function.
• Commercially aware, well-organised and autonomous.
• Professional qualifications advantageous but not essential.
• Manufacturing, distribution, stock or purchasing experience beneficial.

An established, family-owned manufacturing and distribution business is looking to recruit a hands-on Finance Manager to take ownership of its finance function.

Working closely with the Managing Director, you'll provide accurate financial reporting, commercial insight and financial control, while managing a small team of three.
