Qualifications

• Lead a small team within the Finance Office and manage day-to-day finance operations.
• Oversee month-end procedures, prepare monthly accounts, budget statements and financial reports.
• Ensure control account reconciliations are completed monthly and payroll data is accurately transferred to the finance system.
• Maintain awareness of financial developments and protocols with the DfE and other funding bodies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Finance Office staff, including appraisals and training needs.
• Assist Head of Finance with end of month processes and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Financial Regulations and safeguarding procedures.
