Thepostholder will lead a small team and be responsible for the day-to-daymanagement of the finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financialprocessing and compliance with Financial Regulations.
Youwill have line management responsibility for the Finance Office staff,including appraisals and assessment of training needs, and manage theday-to-day work allocation, supervision and development of Finance Office staff.You will assist the Head of Finance with end of month procedures, preparemonthly accounts, budget statements and financial reports, ensure controlaccount reconciliations are completed each month, and ensure the accuratetransfer of payroll data to the finance system. Maintaining awareness offinancial developments and financial protocols with the DfE and other fundingbodies is integral to the role.
