Job summary

Brook Street UK in Belfast is seeking a Finance Manager to own the finance function, lead a small team and provide strategic commercial insight to drive growth. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will deliver robust financial reporting, ensure controls, and contribute to process improvements across the organisation.

The role offers exposure to group accounting under Sage Intacct, with Power BI analytics, a competitive salary (£55k-£60k DOE), and opportunities for professional development

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in finance leadership roles.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience managing small teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day transactional finance functions across the business and group companies.
• Manage working capital and cash flow to support operational and strategic objectives.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
• Ensure an effective credit control function.
• Drive continuous improvement and maximise efficiencies in Sage Intacct.
• Support the Finance Director with financial reporting, data analytics and business insights using Sage Intacct and Power BI.
• Oversee timely tax returns, statutory submissions and related payments.
• Prepare audit files and liaise with external auditors throughout the annual audit.
• Maintain and strengthen financial controls, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Provide commercial analysis and recommendations to support performance and decisions.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.
• Support finance-related projects and process improvements as required.
