Job summary

VANRATH are recruiting an Accounts/Finance Manager for Belfast City Centre. You will lead the finance team, provide strategic financial oversight across multiple business areas, and report to the Finance Director.

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 2 years post-qualification management experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with Netsuite and Sage Payroll. Excellent communicator with a proven leadership track record is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with post-qualification management experience.
• Strong analytical capabilities with advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Experience leading and managing accounting teams.
• Knowledge of Netsuite and Sage Payroll systems.
• Excellent communicator able to convey complex financial information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior management with strategic financial oversight across multiple areas.
• Oversee payroll processing and reporting for the group.
• Lead the preparation of management accounts and revenue reports.
• Manage the accounts team, ensuring system integrity and controls.
• Support year-end accounts preparation and audit processes.
• Reconcile ledger accounts including bank, assets and liabilities.
• Ensure compliance with PAYE and VAT reporting.
