Job summary

Alexander Daniels are partnering with a well-established, growing business to recruit a Finance Manager (12 month FTC). Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll lead the day-to-day finance function, manage a team, and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, commercial insight, and operational support across the business.

You will produce timely management accounts, lead a finance team across AP/AR and management accounting, and drive cash flow forecasting, VAT, and audit

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a similar finance role.
• Strong background in management accounting, reporting & analysis.
• Experience managing and developing finance teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced Excel and ERP/accounting systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce timely monthly management accounts.
• Deliver financial analysis, reporting packs and performance insights.
• Lead and develop a finance team across AP, AR, and management accounting.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital performance.
• Oversee VAT, statutory reporting and audit processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain robust financial controls and compliance across the business.
