Job summary

Alexander Daniels Finance Recruitment are partnering with a well-established business to recruit a Finance Manager on a 12-month FTC. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll lead the day-to-day finance function, manage a team, and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, commercial insight, and operational support across the business.

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in management accounting, reporting and analysis.

• Advanced Excel and ERP/accounting systems proficiency.

• Produce timely monthly management accounts.
• Deliver financial analysis, reporting packs and insights.
• Lead and develop a finance team across AP, AR, and management accounting.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital performance.
• Oversee VAT, statutory reporting and audit processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and process improvement.
• Maintain robust financial controls and compliance.

About You:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Strong background in management accounting, reporting, and financial analysis.
• Experience managing and developing finance teams.
• Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP/accounting systems.
