Job summary

Hyra in Rugby is seeking a Finance Manager to lead reporting and operational finance. You will provide direction, support, and motivation to the team, delegate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure effective communication within the team.

This is a tactical role with direct accountability for month-end processes, year-end audit work, and preparation of Annual Accounts, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and deadlines alongside the FP&A team.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience.
• Proven experience in year end audits, annual accounts and management accounts.
• Experience with Business Central and Power BI.
• An eye for detail, but able to prioritise and deliver to deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative approach to achieving departmental and wider organisational objectives.
• Basic DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• The Finance Manager is responsible for reporting and operational finance. You will provide direction, support, and motivation to the team members, delegate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure effective communication within the team.
• This is a tactical role with direct accountability for month end processes and Management Accounts (including year end audit and Annual Accounts support) ensuring compliance with financial regulations and the deadlines within the team, producing reports and working with the FP&A team to provide variance and trend analysis.
• You will role model the leadership behaviours and demonstrates the core values of TAAS and will hold peers and colleagues to account to do the same.
