Job summary

McHale Komatsu is seeking an experienced Finance Manager in Redditch to lead and develop the finance team, oversee day-to-day accounting, and support the Finance Director with budgets and forecasts. This role focuses on delivering accurate financial information across the business and leading on strategic finance initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience with month-end processes and ERP systems, and a proven track record of improving finance processes

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or substantial relevant experience.
• Experience leading a busy finance function.
• Proven leadership of a finance team.
• Strong knowledge of purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, banking and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance team with clear objectives and service standards.
• Oversee day-to-day purchase and sales ledgers, banking and cash allocation.
• Coordinate month-end timetable and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist the Finance Director with budgets, forecasts and priorities.
• Work with the Financial Controller on reporting, controls and technical accounting.
