Job summary

McHale Komatsu is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead and develop the finance team in Redditch, reporting to the Finance Director. You will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, drive month-end close, cash management and general controls, while improving processes and maintaining high standards.

You will work with the Financial Controller to ensure timely and accurate group reporting, budgets, forecasts and operational finance excellence across the business.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a busy finance function with day-to-day accounts operation.
• ACCA/ACCA/CIMA or substantial relevant experience supported by a finance qualification.
• Strong operational finance knowledge and proven people management ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the finance team, setting objectives and service standards.
• Plan workloads to ensure timely completion of departmental activities.
• Coordinate month-end timetable and ensure reconciliations and information are complete.
