Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking a Finance Manager in Bristol to join a manufacturing business. You will lead an accounts team of 5 under the Finance Director and take ownership of monthly management accounts and robust reporting.

You will produce end-to-end monthly accounts, manage reconciliations, and partner with colleagues on cost control and profitability to drive business performance. 37.5 hours, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• End-to-end monthly management accounts produced within a week of month-end.
• Timely completion of all associated reporting.
• Balance sheet and inter-company reconciliation with variance resolution.
• Business partnering to understand trends and support cost control initiatives.
• KPI reporting and 13-week cashflow forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Produce end-to-end monthly management accounts within a week of month-end.
• Ensure all reporting is completed and distributed timely.
• Reconcile balance sheet and inter-company accounts; resolve variances.
• Collaborate with departments on expenditure vs budget/forecast and profitability.
• Develop and automate regular reporting; provide business insights.
