Job summary

Cpl UK in Wiltshire is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance function and work directly with the Managing Director to drive growth and strategic financial leadership. This office-based role offers a clear path to Finance Director as the business scales.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, management accounts, cash flow and reporting, partnering with senior leadership to influence commercial decisions and support scalable growth.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially minded Finance Manager to join a rapidly growing, innovative business based in Wiltshire.

Working directly alongside the Managing Director, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting business growth, influencing strategic decision-making, and building the financial foundations needed for the next phase of the company's journey.

The Opportunity

As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the finance function while partnering with the Managing Director and leadership team to drive performance, improve processes and support strategic initiatives.

You’ll be joining the business at an exciting stage of growth, where your input will directly influence commercial decisions, operational improvements and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

About You

We're looking for a proactive and commercially astute finance professional who enjoys working in a growing business environment and wants to make a genuine impact.

You will ideally bring:

• Experience within a Finance Manager, Senior Management Accountant, Commercial Accountant or similar role
• Proven experience managing management accounts, budgeting and forecasting
• Strong P&L, cash flow and financial reporting experience
• The ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• A hands‑on approach with the ambition to progress your career
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications

You will be:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Experienced in preparing management accounts and financial reports
• Familiar with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
• Knowledgeable in UK financial reporting and financial controls
