Job summary

Serco is seeking a Finance Manager to join the UK Global Finance Services (GFS) Hub in Hook. You will own the end-to-end R2R process for the UK division, leading a mixed onshore and offshore team and delivering accurate month-end close and financial reporting across ~80 contracts and £2.4bn revenue.

You will report to the Senior Finance Manager and drive process improvements, ensuring compliance and robust financial control across the business.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience delivering monthly financial reporting in a complex environment.
• Proven ability to lead and develop onshore and offshore finance teams.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes and balance sheet control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a mixed onshore/offshore team of Financial Accountants.
• Own end-to-end month-end close across cost and revenue streams.
• Review material accounting adjustments for accuracy and control.
• Support Senior Finance Managers in understanding results and reporting.
