Cameo Consultancy in Stratford-upon-Avon is seeking a Finance Manager to own day-to-day financial management and reporting, working with a small, friendly team in a trusted environment. Initially you will review and strengthen the balance sheet, then take wider ownership of monthly reporting, stock accounting, controls and financial processes to improve visibility and drive better business decisions.

You will liaise with external accountants and use Sage and Excel to maintain accurate financial

Qualifications

• Hands-on Finance Manager / Management Accountant experience.
• Strong balance sheet reconciliation and management accounts experience.
• Experience of stock/inventory accounting.
• Strong Sage and Excel skills.
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA, qualified, or qualified by experience considered.
• Confident working independently and taking ownership.
• Strong attention to detail and practical problem solving.
• Positive and proactive, with the confidence to challenge when needed.

Responsabilités

• Reviewing and reconciling the balance sheet, investigating discrepancies and resolving any historic issues.
• Preparing accurate monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Improving financial controls, processes and reporting.
• Managing stock accounting, inventory valuation and reconciliations.
• Providing better visibility around business costs, including engineer and operational costs.
• Supporting month-end and year-end processes.
• Overseeing larger debtor accounts where required.
• Liaising with external accountants and other stakeholders.
• Using Sage and Excel to maintain accurate and meaningful financial information.
