Job summary

The CFO HQ in Coventry is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day finance function, delivering accurate management accounts, monthly close, and insightful financial reporting. You will be a hands-on professional who can drive improvements across systems and controls.

You will partner with budget holders, support budgeting and forecasting, manage cash flow and financial operations, and contribute to strategic planning in a collaborative hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Experience producing management accounts and financial reporting.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting and business partnering.
• Ability to work with budget holders and non-finance colleagues.
• Charity/not-for-profit experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day finance function, ensuring transactions, reconciliations and reporting are completed accurately and on time.
• Take ownership of monthly management accounts and month-end processes.
• Prepare financial reports and provide clear financial information to senior stakeholders.
• Manage cash flow, purchase and sales ledgers and general financial operations.
• Work closely with budget holders on budgeting, forecasting and financial performance.
• Provide financial input into business planning and organisational projects.
• Support statutory accounts, audit preparation and wider compliance requirements.
