Job summary

Absolute Recruit Ltd. in London is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to lead its finance team and oversee day-to-day operations. You will manage cash flow, produce monthly management accounts, and oversee project costing and forecasting.

The ideal candidate will have ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent experience, with a track record of improving efficiency and reducing costs. This permanent role offers hybrid working with 1–2 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Strong day-to-day finance and cash flow management skills.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the finance team, maintaining accurate processing and efficient daily operations.
• Manage cash flow forecasts, liquidity, working capital and credit control.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with financial analysis and commentary.
• Oversee project costing, billing, valuations and forecasts against budgets and timelines.
• Approve purchase orders and supplier invoices, manage supplier relationships and improve terms.
• Strengthen finance processes and internal controls, ensuring compliance.
• Identify cost savings and oversee payroll processing.
