Job summary

The Recruitment Group is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to own the finance function for an established manufacturing business in the UK. You’ll manage management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, stock, payroll and statutory compliance, and lead the Finance Officer.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years’ experience, a relevant accounting qualification, and strong Sage and Excel skills. You’ll work with senior stakeholders to drive improvements in finance processes and KPIs and support

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in finance management.
• Proficient in Sage and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Manage budgets, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Take ownership of cash flow, credit control and expenditure.
• Oversee stock levels and valuation.
• Manage payroll, VAT and HMRC submissions.
• Oversee external audit requirements.
• Improve finance systems, processes and KPIs.
• Line-manage and develop the Finance Officer.
