Finatal is partnering with a rapidly growing, private equity-backed business in the North West to appoint a Management Accountant / Finance Manager. Location: Warrington, office-based. This is an opportunity to shape the finance function as the business scales.

You will work closely with the senior finance team to build robust reporting, strengthening controls, supporting acquisition integration, and driving accounting excellence across journals and month-end processes.

Qualifikationen

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or be suitably qualified by experience.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Experience operating in a fast-paced or rapidly changing environment.
• Willingness to get into the detail and solve problems yourself.
• Strong Excel skills and experience improving finance processes.

Aufgaben

• Improving management reporting and month-end processes.
• Strengthening financial controls and finance processes.
• Supporting the integration of acquired businesses.
• Assisting with audit and wider technical accounting requirements.
• Improving the quality and reliability of financial information.
• Working through historic and imperfect data where required.
• Supporting ongoing finance systems improvement.
• Remaining hands-on across journals, reconciliations and transactional detail when needed.
