Job summary

Hunter Jameson is seeking a Finance Manager to lead a team of Management Accountants, delivering accurate monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets, and providing commercial financial insight to drive performance.

You will partner with senior stakeholders, challenge performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and financial control, combining technical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) required.
• Minimum five years of relevant finance experience in management accounting.
• Proven experience leading and developing a finance team.
• Strong business partnering, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in renewable energy or asset-intensive sectors advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Management Accountants.
• Deliver monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets.
• Provide financial analysis and commentary to support decisions.
• Build relationships with operational and senior management for FP&A.
• Challenge performance and drive profitability and financial control.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning.
• Drive process improvements and robust financial controls.
