Job summary

CV Screen Ltd is seeking a Finance Manager for a well‑established international manufacturing group in the chemicals sector. The role is based in Nottingham with hybrid working, offering £60,000 - £80,000 plus benefits.

You will lead financial reporting and control, advise on commercial decisions and help drive profitable growth, reporting to the Group Financial Controller with a dotted line to the UK Managing Director.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ financial management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run UK month-end close and produce the monthly management accounts.
• Oversee statutory accounts, VAT, corporation tax and environmental compliance; lead external audit.
• Drive budgets and forecasts with operations and sales to improve profitability.
• Manage product costing, stock accounting, cash flow, working capital and credit control.
• Coach and develop one finance team member while delivering process improvements.
