Job description

Finance Manager (French speaking)
Salary: 60,000-70,000
Location: London once a month/Remote

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager fluent in both French and English! This role is the subject matter expert for France, ensuring accurate and timely accounting records, statutory accounting, and tax returns. It is a full-time, permanent position that can be performed remotely with flexible working options.

What you'll do:

1. Manage day-to-day accounting activities.
2. Ensure all accounting information is accurately entered into our system.
3. Prepare and post monthly accruals and prepayments; maintain fixed asset and intangible asset registers.
4. Provide supporting documentation for accounting entries each month.
5. Manage the year-end audit process and deliver required documentation.
6. File VAT returns and Payroll Tax reports accurately and on time.
7. Support other teams as needed.
8. Maintain knowledge of current processes and systems.
9. Collaborate with transaction teams to ensure proper training.

What you bring:

• Fluent in French and English.
• High school diploma or college degree; qualifications in Maths and English are essential.
• Professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) or studying towards one.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software.
• Previous experience as an accounting lead within a French entity is essential.
• Experience working across multiple global departments is preferred.
