Job summary

Sainsbury's Finance Manager - Financial and Technical Reporting will own the delivery of consolidated financial statements, supporting schedules and reporting packs. You will manage legal entity submissions, intercompany eliminations and foreign exchange translations, while maintaining clear close ownership and reporting controls.

Qualifications

• ACA qualification or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience owning Group consolidation, including legal entity submissions and intercompany eliminations.
• Knowledge of UK-adopted accounting standards and UK statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing technical accounting papers for complex transactions.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of consolidated financial statements and supporting packs.
• Lead annual report and statutory financial statements; oversee close process.
• Coordinate external audit and monitor reporting timetable.
• Develop accounting policies and guidance; liaise with Tax, Treasury and Legal.
