Job summary

Marks & Spencer in the United Kingdom is seeking a Finance Manager for the Food Controllership team to lead reporting, governance and business insight across Franchise & Partners. You will develop people, drive improvements and support SAP S/4HANA deployment.

You'll partner with Commercial Finance, FP&A and senior stakeholders to deliver accurate month-end close, maintain strong controls and shape performance insights that support growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience in financial reporting, controllership or FP&A
• Proven leadership with track record developing high-performing teams
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and risk management understanding

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a finance team in a collaborative culture
• Own financial reporting and month-end close with governance and controls
• Partner with Commercial Finance, FP&A and business partners for insights and decision support
• Strengthen the control environment and manage audits
• Drive transformation, system improvements and SAP S/4HANA deployment
• Lead projects to transform processes and improve efficiency across Franchise & Partners
