Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking a Group Reporting leader to guide consolidation, external reporting and IFRS governance within a major Finance Transformation. You will operate at senior levels, shaping future-state processes beyond routine month‑end cycles.

The role requires deep listed-organisation experience, strong technical judgment and a collaborative leadership style to influence across Finance, Technology, Tax, Audit and Programme teams. Hybrid work is available in London.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Significant post-qualification experience in Group Reporting or External Reporting.
• Experience in FTSE 100/250 or similarly complex listed organisation.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and consolidation experience.
• Track record of leading change and transforming finance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of Consolidation, Group and External Reporting in SAP S/4HANA Finance Transformation.
• Drive decisions across group structures, reporting outputs, governance and controls.
• Bridge Finance, Technology, Tax, Audit and Programme teams to practical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate reporting processes.
• Lead testing, deployment and adoption during go-live and first cycles.
