Your new company
Hays Senior Finance is working with a growing manufacturer near Lincoln that is looking to recruit a Finance Manager/Controller for a newly created role.

Your new role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will manage a small finance team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of month-end and bookkeeping tasks. Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, statutory accounts, cash flows, CAPEX, overhead reviews, stock, costing, and providing key analysis for the senior leadership team. You will also partner with various stakeholders across the business.

What you'll need to succeed

You should be a qualified Accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA) with recent, proven financial management experience in a manufacturing environment. A hands-on manager with staff supervision skills, you are comfortable working as part of a team and handling routine tasks. You will take ownership of all aspects of monthly and annual accounting, presenting insights and recommendations to the SLT for improved financial control and success. Excellent communication skills, data interpretation, concise reporting, IT proficiency, and process improvement skills are essential. Residency within a close commute to Lincoln is required due to hybrid working arrangements.
