Hays Senior Finance are working with a growing manufacturer near Lincoln who are looking to recruit a Finance Manager/Controller to join the team in a newly created role.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing a small team in finance, ensuring the month-end and bookkeeping tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner, as well as responsibility for monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, statutory accounts, cashflows, CAPEX, overhead review, stock, costing, as well as reporting and providing key analysis for the senior leadership team and business partnering with a wide range of stakeholders. You will also manage a small finance team.
You will be a qualified Accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA) with recent and proven financial management experience gained in a commercial manufacturing environment. You will be a "hands-on" manager with staff supervision skills, able to work as part of a team and willing to take on routine tasks when required. You should take ownership of all aspects of monthly and annual accounting, presenting to the SLT with insights and recommendations for improved financial control and success. Excellent communication skills, the ability to interpret and analyze data, and produce clear and concise reports are essential. Strong IT and process improvement skills are also required. You should reside within close proximity to Lincoln, as the role is hybrid working.
