CV Screen Ltd in Hemel Hempstead is recruiting a Finance Manager for a well-established construction group. This office-based role reports to the Managing Director and leads the finance function across the business.

You will oversee monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasting, and year-end audits while liaising with senior colleagues. The position offers £60,000–£64,000 per year plus a strong benefits package including a company car, pension and private medical insurance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Finance Professional
• Strong knowledge of FRS 102, UK VAT, CIS and PAYE
• Proven team management experience; a background in construction or contracting would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing the finance team and producing the monthly management accounts and reporting
• Reviewing contract CVRs, work in progress and margins, and supporting commercial decisions
• Managing cashflow forecasting, credit control, the purchase ledger and payment runs
• Overseeing payroll, VAT, CIS and Corporation Tax compliance
• Preparing consolidation reporting and intercompany reconciliations, and leading the year-end audit

This office-based role near Hemel Hempstead pays £60,000 - £64,000 plus an attractive benefits package. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of the finance function and work closely with senior colleagues across the business. Duties & Responsibilities
