PLEASE NOTE PREVIOUS CIVIL/GROUNDWORK CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE.

The ideal candidate will possess strong financial management skills and a proven track record in overseeing financial operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health of the organisation, providing strategic direction, and leading a team of finance professionals. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing accounts payable, financial planning, and cost control while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Duties

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Manage accounts payable processes to ensure timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support organisational goals.
• Lead the financial planning process, including variance analysis and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular audits of financial processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with operational objectives.
• Prepare detailed reports for senior management on financial performance and forecasts.
