Job summary

Sharpsmart UK is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the Billing, Income and Revenue function across the UK business. The role reports to the Finance Controller and is based in a hybrid setup between the Spennymoor office and the employee's home office.

You will oversee end-to-end finance operations, support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, and drive process improvements with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• ACA qualification or degree in finance, accounting or business-related discipline.
• Minimum of three years’ practical finance experience.
• Experience leading, supervising or developing a finance team.
• Strong experience in billing, income, revenue or wider finance operations.
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and developing the Billing, Income and Revenue team.
• Overseeing end-to-end billing, income and revenue processes with robust controls.
• Producing financial reporting, analysis and performance overviews for senior management.
• Reviewing departmental and customer performance to identify trends and risks.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activity.
• Identifying and implementing improvements to income, billing and revenue strategies.
• Driving continuous improvement across finance processes and systems.
• Leading finance projects and wider strategic initiatives.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Sharing best practice across the international group.
