NC Associates Ltd in Llangollen seeks a hands-on Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day finance functions for a trading business and its charity arm. You will drive monthly management accounts, cash flow analysis, and financial reporting, while improving systems and automating processes.

The ideal candidate has strong Xero experience, can manage month-end processes, and possesses excellent analytical skills. Experience with charity accounting and intercompany transactions is advantageous.

Qualificações

• Strong Xero experience and month-end proficiency.
• Experience preparing full monthly management accounts.
• Knowledge of VAT and financial reporting for charity and trading entities.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivots, charts and reporting.
• Ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with automation and system improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare full monthly management accounts for both organisations within 10 working days of month-end.
• Complete journals, accruals, prepayments and depreciation; manage stock adjustments.
• Produce departmental P&L, analyse margins and profitability.
• Review gross margins, product performance and variances; investigate trends.
• Support budgeting and forecasting; maintain rolling 12-month cash flow forecast.
• Oversee purchase ledger, supplier payments, and reconciliations (≈400 invoices/month).
• Manage sales invoicing, intercompany transactions and credit control.
• Assist with charity financial reporting and year-end procedures; liaise with external accountants.
