Job summary

Reed Finance are working exclusively with a successful SME based in Yate to recruit a Finance Manager. The role is based on-site in Yate with a salary up to £60,000.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial management, reporting and control of the business, providing clear, accurate and timely information to support strategic and commercial decision-making.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or qualified by experience.
• Experienced in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial analysis.
• Proven experience within an SME environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts and KPI reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Provide commercial analysis to identify trends, opportunities and profitability improvements.
• Monitor working capital performance, cash flow and overall business performance.
• Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling and business insight.
• Maintain strong financial controls, compliance, VAT and year-end audit processes.
• Develop and improve financial reporting, dashboards and ERP system outputs.
• Drive process improvements, automation and operational efficiencies across the finance function.
• Partner with senior leaders to provide clear financial guidance and challenge where appropriate.
• Promote financial awareness and accountability throughout the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a well-established business in a hands-on role.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being close to the operational side of a business and wants to make a genuine impact.

Key Responsibilities
