Finance Manager – High-Growth SME | South Manchester | Hybrid

Ascent Recruitment is pleased to exclusively partner with a high-growth SME in South Manchester to appoint a commercially minded and ambitious Finance Manager.

Reporting to an outstanding Finance Director, this broad role offers real progression and hands-on involvement across a group of companies.

You’ll lead a small finance team, deliver consolidated management accounts, and support both operational and commercial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own month-end and year-end reporting, including group consolidation and balance sheet reconciliations
• Produce MI packs, KPI analysis, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
• Maintain and enhance the control/reporting framework
• Partner with leadership teams to drive business planning and performance
• Evaluate acquisitions and investments, including financial modelling and due diligence
• Lead or support various strategic finance projects

About You:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a minimum of 2+ years PQE
• Highly organised, proactive, and driven
• Strong communicator with a commercial mindset
• SME experience
• Experience in high-growth businesses (ideal)
