Citadel Source is delighted to partner with a growing organisation to support the recruitment of their new Finance Manager.
This business operates across multiple markets, delivering complex projects and supporting a wide range of operational and commercial activities. With continued evolution across systems, processes and organisational structure, the company is entering a period of change that brings strong opportunities for development, exposure, and long‑term progression. The environment is fast‑moving, collaborative and focused on improving financial capability and operational efficiency across the wider group.
The Finance Manager will take ownership of day‑to‑day financial operations within the UK finance function. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead a transactional finance team of three and manage the full month‑end close, alongside responsibility for year‑end audit preparation and statutory compliance. This is a broad, hands‑on role covering management accounting, financial control, treasury support, covenant monitoring, and continuous improvement. You will also contribute to strategic finance initiatives, including process optimisation and the acceleration of the organisation’s technology roadmap. The position offers visibility, influence, and the opportunity to shape team performance and capability.
We’re seeking a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 1–2 years’ post‑qualified experience and a strong grounding in financial and management accounting. You will bring experience developing or mentoring junior staff and have a genuine interest in technology‑enabled finance - ERP systems, automation, BI tools, and modern digital processes. You’ll be comfortable operating in both detailed and higher‑level oversight, with strong organisational skills, sound judgement, and the ability to build effective relationships across the business. This role suits someone proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement, with the confidence to lead, coach and influence.
