Job summary

Page Personnel represents a well-established manufacturing business seeking a Finance Manager/Senior Management Accountant to partner with senior leadership and influence business performance. The role encompasses month-end, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and comprehensive financial reporting.

You will prepare management accounts, lead year-end processes and drive process improvements while maintaining strong controls.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified AAT or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant role.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience producing management accounts and financial reporting packs.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management experience.
• Strong Sage and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical capability.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to influence stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts, financial reports and KPI analysis.
• Prepare and post journals, including accruals and prepayments.
• Lead month-end and year-end processes.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Act as the main finance contact for external auditors, accountants and group stakeholders.
• Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to support business growth.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, controls and procedures.
• Support strategic decision-making through clear and timely financial reporting.
