The opportunity

Due to increased project expansion, our client is currently recruiting for an Office Administrator/Accounts Manager to work in a bustling team in our clients offices based in Woolston, Warrington. The Role, reporting to the Managing Director is an extremely varied role that requires a passionate, motivated, self-starter.

The role

As an Office Administrator & Accounts Manager, you will be reporting to the Managing Director in an extremely varied role that requires a passionate, motivated, self-starter.

You’ll be required to ensure the smooth running of the business office on a day-to-day basis and provide full operational support. You will initiate the coordination and implementation of office procedures and frequently have responsibility for specific tasks and projects.

The role requires a hands-on individual with the skills and experience to deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

  1. Banking/Bankline
  2. Sage Accounts/VAT returns/Month End procedures/Year end procedures
  3. Credit control
  4. HMRC requirements
  5. Management reports/WIP/Margins
  6. Insurances/claims
  7. Liaison/Meetings with the following, as and when necessary; Accountant/Bank manager/Insurers/Solicitors/Chartered surveyors/Debt collection agencies
  8. Chart of accounts & nominal ledger settings
  9. Payroll legislation & implementation of new schemes as required
  10. HR

General Administrative Duties

  1. Petty Cash/Expenses & Credit card
  2. Month end payments
  3. Timesheets
  4. Updating job list in CM
  5. Server back up
  6. Sage update installations
  7. Congestion charges/Oyster cards/Vehicle parking
  8. Vehicle maintenance & Tax
  9. Mobile phone & Energy contracts
  10. Post, answering phone & answering door
  11. Archiving accounts
