Job Description

• Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
• Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure proper recording, amortisation, and disposal.
• Prepare supporting information for the annual audit with external auditors.
• Document and maintain accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
• Oversee bookkeeping functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Manage cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts according to company policy.
• Produce monthly reports, including reconciliations, financial statements, and cash flow projections for management, Audit/Finance Committee, and Board of Directors.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate should have:

• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Proficiency in financial management software.
• Experience in the FMCG industry.
• Strong understanding of financial systems and business administration.
