We are looking for a motivated and driven finance professional to manage the day-to-day oversight of the company's finance department, responsible for financial and management accounting and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
- Prepare detailed annual budgets and monthly rolling forecasts.
- Manage cash flow and reporting.
- Conduct variance and cost analysis for GM review.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and legislation such as VAT, HMRC, and corporate governance.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and oversee internal audits.
- Manage Capex and stock.
- Review and approve supplier payments in line with group policies.
- Oversee external and internal audits.
- Support strategic decision-making through data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Interpret operational and financial data, providing insights and scenario analysis to senior management.
- Oversee daily financial activities, including accounts receivable and payable.
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, supporting their development.
- Prepare period-end financial reports and ensure timely internal and external reporting.
- Manage balance sheet provisions and variances.
- Prepare financials for Capex justifications.
- Manage IFRS16 ROU assets and liabilities.
- Identify and escalate financial risks.
- Provide support for tender cost reviews when required.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Highly competent in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience with SAGE 50 is an advantage.
- ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or qualified, or equivalent.
- Experience managing and supervising a finance team.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Proven track record in financial analysis and reporting.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles.
- Knowledge of IFRS standards, including IFRS16.
- Experience leading external audits.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proactive, methodical, and results-oriented.

Part-time (30 hours) to full-time (37.5 hours per week).
