Job summary

Sharpsmart is expanding its Finance team in the UK and seeks a Finance Manager to lead end-to-end finance operations from a hybrid Spennymoor/home office setup. You will report to the Finance Controller and drive planning, analysis and process improvements across the function.

The role requires ACA or finance degree, 3+ years' experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel and finance systems. Hybrid working with some UK travel as needed.

Qualifications

• ACA or degree in a finance-related subject with at least 3 years' experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant finance software.
• Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Leadership and problem-solving abilities.

• Leading the billing, income and revenue department
• Liaising with various stakeholders externally and internally
• Reporting and analytical overviews to senior management and leadership on department performance and customer performances
• Ongoing support and development of policies and procedures
• Identify opportunities to improve income, billing and revenue strategies

Overview

Sharpsmart Finance team is expanding and has an opportunity for a Finance Manger to join the team in a hybrid role splitting time between our Spennymoor office and your home office and reporting directly to the Finance Controller. This is an exciting new position for the Finance team and will focus on overseeing end to end finance operations, financial planning and analysis and looking to make continuous improvements and ad hoc finance based projects.
