Job summary

Alexander Dennis Limited is seeking a Finance Manager to lead overhead forecasting and deliver high-quality financial analysis. You will partner with stakeholders across the Business Unit to drive cost understanding and decision making, while maintaining rigorous financial controls.

The role requires commercial acumen, strong Excel and systems knowledge, and the ability to influence across functions in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. Based in either Larbert or Skelmersdale.

Qualifications

• Commercially minded and analytical finance professional with strong systems and Excel capability.
• Able to influence stakeholders and drive cost-control improvements.
• Experience in large or multi-site organisations is preferred.

Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Based in either our Larbert or Skelmersdale office, you'll work on-site Monday to Thursday, with Fridays reserved for home working and an early finish at 1:00 pm.

What You’ll Do

As Finance Business Manager, you will lead the central overhead forecasting process while supporting the wider function within the AD Business Unit. You’ll provide high-quality financial analysis and insight, partner with stakeholders across the business, and help drive better understanding and control of costs to support effective decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a commercially minded and analytical finance professional with strong systems and Excel capability, who is confident working across functions and influencing stakeholders at all levels. You’ll be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable challenging existing practices to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Bonus if you have

• CIMA / ACCA / ACA part-qualified or fully qualified
• Experience of working in a large, multi-site or global organisation
• Experience using Syspro and/or Hyperion
