We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing accurate management accounts, maintaining robust financial controls, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of finance functions using Xero. You will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, and supporting strategic decision-making.

You will lead the financial operations of the business maintaining robust financial controls, producing accurate management accounts and ensuring the day to day running of the finance function across all offices.

Key responsibility:

To organise and prepare accurate accounting records and produce timely financial information for the Operations Director and Franchise owners, the company accountant and HMRC

Duties will include:

• Prepare and present timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis.
• Oversee daily financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations in Xero.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, including regular updates and variance reporting.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax).
• Maintain and improve financial controls, procedures, and reporting systems.
• Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors as necessary.
• Provide financial insight and support to senior management for strategic initiatives.
• Train and support junior finance staff and oversee their development.
• Generate ad hoc financial reports and analysis as required.
• Available to work 3 days a week
